HOW TO USE ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVERS?
Kilews Industrial Co. Ltd., is a leading manufacturer of
adjustable clutch electric screwdrivers for fastening applications. It is
regarded as best quality electric screwdrivers in India and has very high
reputation in market. It is not much different from the conventional manual
screwdrivers. They both serve the same purpose of tightening or loosening
screws, with the main difference being the power source driving that force.
Instead of manual operation, by using an electric motor a user is able to
accomplish their tightening more efficiently, more accurately and at a lower
risk of injury. Where conventional methods of screw tightening are way more
time consuming and slows down the production rate & quality.
Basically, there are two type of electric screwdriver i.e.
brush and brushless, with shutoff and non-shutoff mechanism. Both electric
screwdrivers are not difficult to operate. Still, it’s important to review how
to correctly use the tool before beginning work and also make ensure about the
joint application. It is wise to consider factors such as the type of
screws and hardware involved, the type of materials you are working with. If
you find you are unsure about the fastening application, it is ideal to contact
a torque specialist.
Here are the
general steps to follow when using an electric screwdriver.
1.
Firstly we attach
a tool cable to the screwdriver and the controller.
2.

cord to the back of the controller and power outlet.

Select the bit
you want to use and retract the bit sleeve.
5.
Insert the bit and
release the retracted sleeve.
6.
Make sure the bit
fits the head of the fastener.
7.
To set the torque
limit, rotate the torque adjustment nut.
8.
To increase the
torque, turn the adjustment nut clockwise. To reduce the torque, turn the nut
counterclockwise to reduce the torque.
9.
Confirm the
torque setting with a torque-testing system.
10. To check for proper rotation, turn the driver on.
11. Squeeze the lever to apply torque. For Push-to-Start
models, place light downward pressure on the nose of the driver. The
screwdriver will automatically stop when the preset torque has been reached.
